After three colorways from Travis Scott and Nike‘s “Grand Theft Auto 6” collaboration leaked this week, the rapper himself took up the cause of revealing a surprise fourth that will be the most limited.
The “Grand Theft Auto 6” x Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low will only be doled out in limited numbers at Travis Scott’s discretion. A diverse mix of materials includes patent leather overlays with a gradient to match the “GTA 6” logo and a camo ripstop quarter. White Swooshes and a black mustache also appear in patent leather, while the vamp and eyestays are applied in black suede.
As is standard for Scott’s collaborations, the lateral Swoosh sits backward — but there are a number of additional flourishes specific to the video game. “GTA” takes the place of “Air” on the midsole’s lateral side, and on its medial comes six stars denoting the highest wanted level throughout the franchise. The six-star motif is then replicated once again in a remix of the outsole pattern, and a co-branded rubber money can be removed from the toe box.
Two of the other Air Force 1 Lows from the collab feature in the sneaker’s classic Triple White and Triple Black colorways with a patterned upper and pink stars on the outsole. The third then appears primarily in black save for a multicolor series of stars on its vamp and quarter.
Nike has never collaborated with Rockstar Games before, but it has joined with Scott in another video game tie-up through an ultra-limited Dunk Low for the launch of the Playstation 5.
