Titan Brands cuts backorder risk by linking systems

Titan Brands has cut its weekly backorder risk by USD $640,000 by linking its order, warehouse and transportation management systems, according to Infios. The retailer said the change reduced potential weekly sales lost to backorders from USD $1 million to USD $360,000.

Titan Brands is a direct-to-consumer eCommerce and B2B retailer with annual sales of more than USD $200 million. It operates four distribution centres in the US and sells nearly 3,000 products across Titan Fitness, Titan Attachments and Ash & Ember Outdoors.

The integrated setup also lifted the in-stock rate across Titan Brands' top 100 products from 60% to 95%, increased warehouse pick rates by 133% and improved forecast accuracy from 65% to 70%, according to the companies. They also reported 100% on-time shipments and 100% cycle-count inventory accuracy.

Before the change, order management sat within the warehouse operation, limiting early visibility into incoming inventory, shipping costs and delivery dates during the customer purchase process. Staff relied on spreadsheets, manual coordination and separate order and shipping systems.

Titan Brands first implemented Infios order management and warehouse management tools, moving order orchestration earlier in the fulfilment process so inventory availability, shipping costs and delivery estimates could be shown at checkout. It later added Infios transportation management, which went live in January 2026.

The result is a shared system in which the three tools exchange data in real time. According to the companies, warehouse events can trigger transport actions immediately, while customer service staff can view order status, distribution centre activity and shipment tracking in one place.
