Timberland and Jacquemus Are Back Together on Two Croc Versions of the Lug Sole Boat Shoe

Timberland and Jacquemus are back together again for to update a preppy footwear staple for fall.

Sticking with the VF Corp.-owned outdoor brand’s signature three-eye lug boat shoe, this latest drop features the shoe in a distinctive crocodile-inspired hide. Presented in two colorways, “Brown Croc” and “Navy Croc,” the design trades smooth leather for a crocodile-embossed texture.

First introduced in 1978, Timberland’s Authentic Boat Shoe is crafted from embossed premium Timberland leather, and retains its signature rugged rubber outsole, complemented by a soft leather lining and padded collar. A tonal tree logo and bespoke branded aglets complete the look.

The croc-embossed Timberland x Jacquemus Authentic Boat Shoe, which retails for $320, is now available at Jacquemus.com, Timberland.com, and select Jacquemus and Timberland stores and wholesale partners worldwide.

This release follows the July launch of the collaborative three-eye lug boat shoe in a “Lagoon Blue” colorway. Inspired by Art Deco architecture and the bold colors of the 1980s Memphis design movement, this distinctive hue appeared in the Jacquemus spring/summer 2027 collection titled “Le Bonheur,” which means “happiness” in English.

Last year saw the debut shoe between the two labels, which centered around the three-eye lug boat shoe in a “Banana Yellow” colorway favored by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

This is the latest footwear collaboration for Jacquemus, which released the newest colorways of its Moon Shoe capsule with Nike in September. Referred to simply as “Multi-blue” by Jacquemus, the pastel pair used a soft blue shade across its nylon upper with contrasting gray suede overlays, ostrich-textured leather Swoosh logos in emerald green and, like Jacquemus’ other renditions of the historic Nike sneaker, a gum rubber outsole.
