Jenna Ortega Puts Her Spin on the Little Silk Scarf Trend With Her Dog by Her Side

The actress matched her dog Sig with a color-blocked look from Calvin Klein’s spring 2027 collection at the “Klara and the Sun” photocall in London.

Jenna Ortega made the first stop on her “Klara and the Sun” press tour on Wednesday, clad in a Calvin Klein design with a little scarf element at The Corinthia Hotel in London.

Joined by her dog Sig — the black whippet she adopted in 2024 while shooting the second season of “Wednesday” in Dublin — the actress’ look brought complemented her pup’s coat while also bringing color blocking and the silk scarf trend into focus. The design hailed from the American label’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection, making Ortega the most recent star to sport a spring design fresh off the runway.

The design included three distinct colors: black, white and yellow. The high-waisted maxiskirt, cast in black, featured a streamlined pencil silhouette with some exposed seaming for an asymmetric detail.

The bodice of the top was a crisp white, while the sleeves were cast in vibrant yellow, a slight nod to the bold color trend for the season. At the neckline, a black band of fabric created a flowing scarf motif that elevated the look ever-so-slightly.

The little silk scarf trend found its way onto the runway with spring 2026 collections and has matriculated to such retail brands as Abercrombie and Fitch, among others.

“I think people are craving pieces that feel expressive and emotional right now,” Yong Wang, cofounder of silk accessories label Lost Pattern, previously told WWD of the scarf trend.
