Situationist Spring 2027: Sexy and Fun

David Giorgadze and Irakli Rusadze presented a fresh, colorful wardrobe this season.

“It takes time to establish who you are in the industry, and now we really offer a variety of shirts and pants that are actually wearable and more affordable for people who maybe can’t afford several coats that are a bit pricier,” said David Giorgadze, creative director and cofounder of the 10-year Georgian brand.

“This is more of a fresh take on what we represent — also sexier,” he continued.

Indeed, sex appeal prevailed throughout, from the bandeau and bra tops to sheer suiting and animal prints.

“It’s the first time for us to use very thin fabrics, like organza,” Giorgadze said. The fun lineup was colorful — infused with sky blue, lipstick red and pumpkin orange — “really different and really fresh,” said Situationist designer and cofounder Irakli Rusadze.

“But also, in a way, it feels very experimental,” Giorgadze said of the collection, pointing to how fabrics and monotone colors were layered. “It almost has this weird reference to post-Soviet architecture. It has an accent and infusion of Georgian essence.”

To wit: The ancient Georgian sun symbol, the Borjgali, appeared throughout the collection, including on belts, cuffs and earrings.

Giorgadze and Rusadze took Situationist’s signature silhouettes, such as a jacket with structured, exaggerated shoulders and cinched waist, and made them more minimal to emphasize design and craftsmanship — to luxurious effect.

The lineup was meant to have “something that fits everyone, with a positive and empowering message,” Giorgadze said.
