Sanjeev Bikhchandani To Take Over As Info Edge Group CEO, Hitesh Oberoi Steps Down

Naukri parent Info Edge said founder and vice chairman Sanjeev Bikhchandani will take over as executive vice chairman, MD and group CEO from December 3, 2026.

He will succeed Hitesh Oberoi, who will step down as managing director and CEO at the close of business on December 2, ending nearly 27 years in a full-time executive role at the company.

Info Edge said Oberoi had decided to step down to devote more time to his interests in education, entrepreneurship, institution building, investing and philanthropy, and to spend more time with his family.

Oberoi will remain associated with the company as a non-executive, non-independent director from December 3

The announcement came alongside Info Edge’s Q2 FY27 results. Its consolidated net profit rose 87% to ₹649.8 Cr in the September quarter from ₹347.5 Cr a year earlier. Net profit increased 32.6% QoQ from ₹490.1 Cr.

Revenue from operations grew 12.2% YoY and 2.6% QoQ to ₹903.9 Cr. Other income rose 164.8% YoY to ₹428.4 Cr from ₹161.8 Cr, contributing to the increase in net profit.
