Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela’s Latest Collaboration Features a New Derby-Sneaker Hybrid and an Updated Boot

The latest XT-MM6 and new MM6 Crossderby will be released on Oct. 22.

Salomon is back together with MM6 Maison Margiela on two sneaker releases for fall 2026.

For the first drop, the duo has reworked the XT-MM6 which uses Salomon’s fan-favorite XT line as its blueprint. The the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-MM6 first appeared in October 2025. It uses Salomon’s signature underfoot ACS (Agile Chassis System) stability setup paired with the brand’s Energy Cell cushioning.

For this release, the style is done in three new colorways, including “Vanilla Ice/Ftw Silver/Lemon,” “Tapioca/Sea Foam/Violet” and “Scarab/Bistro Green/Green.” This model will retail for $495.

The duo is also introducing a new sneaker model for this season’s first release. Called the MM6 Crossderby, the shoe combines a classic street upper derby shape with an outdoor sole, laced up with the Salomon drawstring system. The shiny black leather upper delivers a sleek, everyday look, while the addition of an outdoor sole’s advanced technology makes this the most versatile shoe in the collaboration yet. It will be offered in a triple-black colorway for $635.

What’s more, the first drop will also see the return of the XT-15 Backpack, including a white rain cover with a black logo. The backpack will retail for $385.

As for the second drop, Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela will release the MM6 XT-Boot. The shoe, rework of a previous style, features a soft inner shoe that naturally wraps the foot and an upper that’s like the hoodie of a puffer jacket.
