Me+Em reported robust sales and profit gains in the last fiscal year, and revealed that its main backer, Highland Europe, has increased its stake.
LONDON – Me+Em, the British womenswear brand that counts Queen Camilla of England as a client, saw sales and profits grow in the high double digits in its most recent fiscal year on the back of strong demand in the U.S., where the company now has eight stores.
Me+Em has also revealed that its private equity backer Highland Europe, which first invested in 2022, has increased its stake, “underscoring its confidence in the brand and its growth trajectory.”
According to the latest company accounts, revenues in the 12 months to Jan. 31, 2026, increased by 29 percent to 190 million pounds, driven by continued global expansion.
U.S. revenue rose by 39 percent to 65 million pounds, driven by “significant” double-digit online sales growth and the opening of three new stores in the region. Growth was fueled by the brand’s omnichannel strategy during a year which saw the opening of new stores in Greenwich, Conn., and on North Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills, Calif.
The company added that all U.S. stores were profitable in their first year of trading and drove “significant” like-for-like sales growth in year two. Over the last three-year period, the group’s active U.S. customer base has nearly quadrupled, with VIP customers growing at an even faster rate.
EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, rose 53 percent to 37 million pounds, while operating profit was up 30 percent to 26 million pounds.
