The actress wore a clear pair of stilettos and elegant white bodycon dress while attending the gala with husband Chris Dingwall.

Melanie C was spotted at the amfAR London gala at The Chancery Rosewood Friday night. In attendance with new husband Chris Dingwall, the former Spice Girl was all about the clear heel trend once again. She strutted into the event wearing a pair of stilettos held in place by barely-three clear straps.

Melanie C’s look was minimalist yet fashionable, a great combination of elegance and just a touch of nightlife-inspired flair. She wore a bridal white bodycon mini-dress with slight horizontal ruching. She paired the dress with clear stilettos with a silver run band that showed off her freshly-manicured red toenails. All in all, it was a perfect look for the event, formal enough to fit right in at a gala while incorporating a little bold playfulness.

Melanie C’s an obvious fan of the clear heel. Earlier this month, she wore what appear to be the same clear heels to the National PreEP Day Celebration at The Abbey in West Hollywood. A testament to the shoe’s versatility, the heels worked just as well with C’s considerably edgier look that night, opting for an appropriately athletic outfit for the former Sporty Spice: an Adidas x Asos off-the-shoulder track jacket and a sports bra-style top.

Clear heels are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in the celebrity fashion circuit. Last July, Jennifer Lopez was spotted strolling through Paris in multiple pairs of clear heels, shoes she often paired with maximalist fashion choices like a light pink Chloé poplin cape.
