Johnny Was and Josie Natori have launched a loungewear collaboration, rooted in the concept of Artful Living.
The collection, under the label Natori x Johnny Was, reimagines everyday dressing through expressive prints, rich colors, and intricate detailing combining Natori’s heritage in luxury intimate apparel with Johnny Was’s relaxed, bohemian sensibility.
Drawing from Natori’s print archive, the collection reinterprets the brand’s signature motifs through the distinctive color palette and embroidery techniques of Johnny Was. The assortment includes silk robes, caftans, pajama sets and elevated loungewear.
The collection will be sold at Johnny Was’ 72 stores across the U.S., johnnywas.com and natori.com, starting Monday.
“For me, it’s always about bringing art into life. Johnny Was shares that spirit, which made this collaboration so much fun,” said Josie Natori, founder of Natori.
“Josie Natori has inspired me for years — as a designer, leader and mentor who is always looking ahead. From our first collaborations in women’s ready-to-wear and intimate apparel to this new chapter with Johnny Was, working together with her [Natori] again is a special full-circle moment,” said Lisa Kazor, president of Johnny Was.
Kazor assumed her role at Johnny Was in December 2025, having worked as chief commercial officer and strategic adviser for the brand since April 2025. Earlier, she held roles at Bloomingdale’s, Tourneau/Bucherer, and Joor, and spent 25 years at Neiman Marcus Group, rising to senior vice president, general merchandise manager of women’s ready-to-wear, outerwear and intimates.
