Malanpur: Godrej Consumer Products Ltd on Wednesday inaugurated its new unit in the Malanpur Industrial Area of Bhind district and said the facility has now become the largest soap factory in Asia. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the fourth new unit of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) in the Malanpur industrial area. The unit, set up at a cost of over Rs 450 crore, will now house Asia's largest soap factory in Malanpur, providing employment to hundreds of people in the area, a company official said. Advt
"We not only signed MoUs, but also implemented them. The industry being established here today is Asia's largest soap industry. 4,000 soaps will be produced here every minute. Mosquitoes may be found anywhere in the country, but Goodnight produced here will ensure protection from them," Yadav said, adding that Godrej has instilled trust in the people. "Today, a new gift worth Rs 450 crore is being received. An example of Made-in-MP and Faith-in-MP is being set in the state," he said.
