The platform includes exclusive collaborations with heritage brands like Ginori 1735, Christofle, Frette, Globe-Trotter and Smythson.
MILAN — Driven by luxury fashion, home and accessories’ growing relationship with top hospitality brands, Raffles Hotels & Resorts is taking the plunge into the e-commerce business.
On Monday, the firm told WWD that it will launch The Little Shop by Raffles, its first global e-commerce platform, featuring a bespoke collection developed in collaboration with stylist Jessica Diehl. The offering embraces the banner’s signature palm print and deep green and spans apparel, resortwear and activewear. The offer also includes exclusive collaborations with heritage brands such as Frette slippers, Christofle coffee cups, Globe-Trotter carry-on cases, Orlebar Brown swim trunks, Vanessa Sposi swimwear, Amambaih bags, Z Lab sleep masks, Smythson leather goods and Ginori 1735 tableware.
“The Little Shop by Raffles is a natural expression of who we have always been as a brand,” said Raffles Resorts & Hotels chief brand officer Claudia Kozma Kaplan, adding that each piece was envisaged to extend the travel experience long after a stay has ended.
The core collection includes separates emblazoned with the banner’s signature phrase “The Butler Did It,” Raffles’ crest-adorned cashmere, palm-print pajamas and hats, as well as a resort edit of caftans in the Raffles print. Designed for life at and beyond the hotels, each piece comes with a personal note from the Raffles Butler.
The name revives the original Little Shop, opened at Raffles Singapore in the 1940s. Select pieces will be available at Raffles London at The OWO , Raffles Boston and Le Royal Monceau — Raffles Paris, with the London hotel also introducing a dedicated boutique.
