Dua Lipa lives life exactly as a pop star should. She makes music her fans love, travels the world with her husband, Callum Turner, and dresses well, as she displayed in her latest appearance in New York.
The “New Rules” singer has been having a moment as Ferragamo‘s latest muse. She stepped out for the Metropolitan Opera world premiere gala of “Lincoln in the Bardo” at Lincoln Center on Monday in New York City, and she was dressed in a head-to-toe look from the fashion house’s upcoming collection, which was designed by Maximilian Davis.
She opted for an off-the-shoulder black Ferragamo spring 2027 dress. The design was held up by spaghetti straps that led to a black sequined and sheer frock with disc sequins and beaded texturing. The dress also features a high slit and a slight train.
The singer paired the dress with the same black satin stiletto mules it was shown with on the runway at the Ferragamo spring 2027 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week in September. The black satin mules feature a pointed toe and a prominent gold-toned jewelry accent on the V-shaped vamp.
The jewel was crafted with rich black resin or glass stones, gold-finished metal components, and delicate pavé rhinestone or crystal detailing. The shoes stand tall on a curved gold-tone or brass stiletto heel measuring around four inches, adding a sculptural, modern element to the mules.
Bejeweled and crystal-embellished footwear is a dominant trend for fall 2026 and spring 2027, highlighted by major runway debuts and celebrity appearances.
