CAS has selected NEWWORK's Digital Workforce Platform to connect its sales, supply chain and production systems, marking the electronic weighing equipment manufacturer's first step towards becoming an AI-enabled business.
The initial rollout will begin with a pilot linking sales, purchasing, production, supply chain, inventory and logistics systems. The aim is to give teams real-time visibility across the order-to-delivery process, where information has been spread across separate systems.
Founded in South Korea in 1983, CAS supplies customers in more than 120 countries. Its products include scales, load cells and other commercial systems used in retail, logistics, agriculture, food processing and industrial markets.
Manufacturers often struggle to track orders and deliveries when data sits in different software systems. As a result, sales teams may learn about production delays, material shortages or delivery changes only after those issues begin affecting customers.
NEWWORK said its platform will sit above CAS's existing business software rather than replace it. It is designed to bring together data from commercial and operational functions so staff can view and act on changes across departments in a single environment.
That should help CAS improve pipeline and delivery forecasting, reduce the need for staff to reconstruct information manually and respond faster when supply chain or production problems emerge. The platform is also designed to interpret operational events and recommend actions, rather than simply issue alerts.
The choice of platform reflects the complexity of CAS's international business, which spans multiple markets and regions. For manufacturers with broad export footprints, integrating customer-facing and factory systems has become a priority as they seek faster responses to disruptions and tighter coordination between commercial teams and operations.
