Just over a year after being announced as an ambassador for On, Burna Boy‘s debut sneaker collaboration is set to release.
The Burna Boy x On Cloudmonster and Roger Clubhouse offer diverging monochrome treatments. An all-red treatment defines the Cloudmonster, with a bright hue carrying through the upper and sole unit and darker shades used for the branding. The Roger Clubhouse has more than initially meets the eye with its all-white colorway, as the laces feature a shaggy texture and two red stitch embellishments are added at the heel.
Also included will be a Cloudtilt Remix, but images of the shoe have not yet been shared.
The assortment of sneakers comes as part of the “No Giant Stands Alone” campaign, which stars the Afrobeats artist alongside his friends, family and collaborators to spotlight the role they’ve had on his career.
In his statement upon signing with On last year, Burna Boy said: “For me, everything I do comes from the same place — music, sport, community and culture. It’s all connected. On gets that. Our partnership is about shaking things up and creating new energy in the world of sports.”
Since followed up with two updates, the Cloudmonster is On’s max-cushioned and neutral running shoe that has also been adopted widely for daily wear. The Roger Clubhouse, meanwhile is an out-and-out lifestyle model inspired by tennis and named for part-owner Roger Federer.
The Burna Boy x On Cloudmonster and Roger Clubhouse are out now through the websites for On and Foot Locker .
