After a Rowdy Release in April, Vans’ Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95 Gems Is Back

Vans‘ popular Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95 Gems is back in a new colorway for fall.

The style, which caused the Vans Fifth Avenue store in NYC to shut down in April, is back in a navy canvas version.

Indeed, the latest OTW by Vans x Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95 Gems features a tearaway navy canvas upper that gradually reveals a classic checkerboard underlay. Exposed foam at the collar delivers a deconstructed finish, while a printed primary lace with sandblasted bead detailing introduces texture to the shoe.

A repeating “Satoshi” print runs across the laces while multicolor gemstones are seen throughout the ankle collar. The sidewall receives a black and yellow hand wiped finish, resulting in a naturally worn-in patina, paired with a distressed foxing stripe. Underfoot, a translucent crystal outsole reveals “Satoshi Nakamoto” through the sole.

The OTW by Vans x Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95 Gems, which will retail for $195, will be available on Oct. 16 at Vans.com/otw.

This newest launch follows the April debut of the OTW by Vans x Satoshi Nakamoto Era 95 Gems in black canvas. As previously reported, the release spawned a massive rowdy crowd outside of the brand’s Fifth Avenue store.

, more than three hours before the store was set to open. A public information officer confirmed two suspects were taken into custody and issued summons prior to their release. No injuries were reported.
