Chinese heat pump manufacturer Phnix has launched GreenTherm One, an all-in-one air-to-water heat pump designed for residential heating, cooling and domestic hot water applications.
The company said the new system integrates a thermal storage tank and key hydraulic components into a single outdoor unit, eliminating the need for a separate indoor hot water cylinder. According to Phnix, the plug-and-play design enables installation in as little as one hour, provided the site has been prepared beforehand.
The heat pump uses propane (R290) as a refrigerant, with a charge of 0.35 kg. It has a nominal heating capacity of 6 kW and a modulation range of 1.5 kW to 7.5 kW at an outdoor temperature of 7 C and a water outlet temperature of 35 C. At a water outlet temperature of 55 C, the heating capacity ranges from 1.4 kW to 7.0 kW.
The manufacturer reports an seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) of 5.1 at 35 C and 3.85 at 55 C. The unit can reportedly deliver outlet water temperatures of up to 75 C and operates at outdoor temperatures ranging from -25 C to 45 C.
In cooling mode, the heat pump delivers between 1.36 kW and 7.5 kW at an outdoor air temperature of 35 C and a chilled-water outlet temperature of 18C (A35/W18). It uses a single-phase 220 V to 240 V power supply at 50 Hz.
The heat pump measures 750 mm × 580 mm × 1,950 mm and weighs 185 kg. 86 m3/h, a sound pressure level of 38 dB(A) at a distance of 1 meter and a sound power level of 55 dB(A), measured according to EN 12102.
