iOS 27.3 upgrades Apple Music in two ways, here’s what’s new

Apple Music is getting two upgrades in iOS 27.3, which just debuted in beta this week. Here’s what’s new.

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, iOS 27.3 so far has two main changes to look forward to when it ships next month.

The most noteworthy upgrade is a new ‘Selfie Sing’ feature for creating karaoke videos. It was discovered by Aaron Perris in iOS 27.3 beta 1, and beta users can try it by searching for Apple’s ‘Selfie Sing’ playlist.

Here’s a walkthrough of what it looks like via Digital Trends on X:

Essentially, Apple is leveraging the existing Apple Music Sing features into a standalone selfie video tool. You’ll be able to create your own selfie karaoke videos for sharing on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and more.

Another iOS 27.3 upgrade for Music is found when using the lyrics view in landscape mode.

Similar to what’s available on iPhone Duo, the animated artwork for what’s playing now bleeds further into the lyrics view. It’s a great look that’s now coming to all iPhone models.
