Apple releases watchOS 27.0.1 to fix Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 bug

Apple is rolling out watchOS 27.0.1 for Apple Watch today. The company says the update fixes an issue where some Apple Watch units would unexpectedly restart. The update is available exclusively for Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 users.

This update provides bug fixes for your Apple Watch including fixing an issue where Apple Watch may restart unexpectedly.

On Reddit and other forums, some Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 users reported that their new watches were randomly restarting multiple times per day. The problem didn’t affect all users, but there was clearly an issue and that’s what today’s software update will hopefully fix.
