Stellar (XLM) says corporate treasuries can hold tokenized money market funds and Treasury-backed assets with 24/7 transfer, approval and clawback controls.
Stellar (XLM) is positioning its network as a treasury-management venue for corporate and institutional cash, arguing that tokenized money market funds and Treasury-backed tokens can earn yield while remaining movable around the clock. The company says the setup combines regulated yield, near-five-second settlement and controls such as approval, freeze and clawback permissions set by the treasury team.
In material published on Oct. 28, 2026, Stellar said treasuries can hold tokenized money market funds and Treasury-backed tokens on its network, including Franklin Templeton's BENJI, Spiko funds and Ondo's USDY. The page also says trades on Stellar's native exchange are final in about five seconds, and that the network supports approval, freeze and clawback controls for asset administration. Stellar describes Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered bank, as a custodian for Stellar assets.
The page highlights several adoption figures, but only one is tied to a specific measurement date. Stellar says BENJI on Stellar totaled $605 million as of Oct. 6, 2026, citing rwa.xyz. It also says Stellar hosts $4 billion in real-world assets and 67 tokenized products, but the material provided does not attach explicit observation dates to those figures, so they should be treated as platform claims rather than independently verified current totals.
Stellar's treasury page frames the network as infrastructure rather than a standalone treasury token. It points to tokenized funds, lending markets and institutional service providers as part of the ecosystem, and says more than 200 institutions, exchanges and regulated providers are in production on the network.
