Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to develop a new ChatGPT plugin, leveraging OpenAI technology to enhance how travelers discover, compare, and book hotels. The integration aims to streamline the trip-planning process by enabling natural, conversational interactions.

The ChatGPT plugin, launched earlier this year, is designed to help users explore Radisson properties through conversational AI. Travelers can use the tool to see hotel suggestions on a map, compare pricing, view amenities, and proceed to Radisson’s website to finalize bookings. A case study published by OpenAI on October 7, 2026, reveals that the plugin was built and deployed in just six weeks. Early results from July to August 2026 showed a 1.5x higher visit-to-booking conversion rate compared to Radisson's organic search performance.

Accenture, which co-developed the platform, described the initiative as a transformative travel-discovery experience during its launch announcement on July 28, 2026. The plugin fits into a broader trend in the travel industry, where AI assistants are playing a larger role in influencing traveler decisions earlier in the planning process. OpenAI further enhanced the plugin's visibility through a ChatGPT update that automatically surfaces the Radisson Hotels plugin when relevant, eliminating the need for users to specifically activate it by name.
