NEAR Protocol shed 5.58% to $4.13 on Binance spot markets, dismantling its entire short-term moving average structure in one session. CoinGabbar analyst Aashish Vishwakarma, writing November 1, 202...

The session's damage is best understood structurally. NEAR reached a high of $4.43 before sellers pushed it to a low of $4.08 — a 24-hour range of $0.35 against a daily ATR(14) of $0.41 — settling near $4.13. But the more consequential outcome was what that decline left behind: NEAR now trades beneath every short-term average in the stack. The SMA 7 at $4.38, SMA 20 at $4.70, SMA 50 at $4.60, EMA 12 at $4.47, and EMA 26 at $4.58 — all derived from Binance spot daily data — were potential support before this session. Each now sits overhead as resistance.
The 200-day SMA at $2.55 confirms that NEAR has not surrendered its longer-term trend structure, but that context does little to improve the near-term picture when five shorter averages form a ceiling above the current price.
At an RSI(14) of 42.66, NEAR's momentum has crossed below the 50 midline without reaching the conventional oversold threshold of 30. That positioning is consistent with a market that is correcting rather than collapsing, and it does not yet produce the kind of extreme reading that has historically preceded sharp mean-reversion moves.
0000. Both lines remain in negative territory, and the convergence to zero reflects decelerating bearish momentum — not a directional reversal.
