HBAR Price Prediction: Taker Sell Flow and Bearish Momentum Signal Fragile Footing at $0.08

Hedera (HBAR) is trading at $0.0800 on Binance spot as of October 21, 2026, pinned below its 20- and 50-day moving averages while futures taker flow shows aggressive net selling against a backdrop ...

HBAR opened the October 21 session at $0.0800, posting a 24-hour gain of 2.38% within a day range of $0.08–$0.09 on Binance spot. Despite that intraday recovery, the structural picture remains weak. Both the 20-day SMA and 50-day SMA sit at $0.09, forming a unified resistance ceiling directly above spot. The 7-day SMA has flattened to $0.08, and the 200-day SMA also reads $0.08, which means HBAR is effectively sandwiched between its longest-term average from below and its short-to-medium-term averages from above — an unusually compressed configuration.

Bollinger Band geometry confirms the compression. With the lower band at $0.08, the midband (SMA 20) at $0.09, and the upper band at $0.11, the %B reading of 0.2710 places HBAR in the lower 27% of its current band range. The token is trading closer to the band floor than its midpoint. A sustained daily close above the $0.09 midband would be a minimum precondition before any assessment of a move toward the upper band at $0.11 could be credibly supported by the chart structure.

46 sits below the 50 centerline — the level that conventionally separates bearish from bullish momentum regimes — but well clear of the 30 level associated with oversold conditions.
