CONTROL Resonant joins GeForce NOW, offering RTX-powered cloud gaming. Final days for Ultimate Membership bundle. Googlebooks support announced.
CONTROL Resonant, the latest installment in Remedy Entertainment’s acclaimed series, has officially launched on NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform. Alongside the release, NVIDIA announced the final days of its CONTROL Resonant Ultimate Membership Bundle, which includes a 12-month Ultimate membership and the game at no additional cost. The bundle offer ends Sunday, September 27, providing a limited window for gamers to access RTX-powered cloud gaming with added perks.
The game puts players in the shoes of Dylan Faden, who must harness paranatural abilities and wield the Aberrant, a shape-shifting melee weapon, to confront reality-bending threats in a warped Manhattan. Ultimate-tier subscribers can stream the game with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance, featuring NVIDIA DLSS 4, ray tracing, and up to 5K HDR resolution on supported devices—offering a seamless, high-fidelity experience without the need for costly hardware upgrades or massive installs.
In a separate announcement, NVIDIA revealed that GeForce NOW support is coming to Googlebooks, Google’s new premium laptop category that merges ChromeOS and Android functionality. As these devices roll out this fall, owners will have access to NVIDIA’s cloud gaming library, enabling high-performance gaming on lightweight hardware. This integration underscores NVIDIA’s strategy to expand its cloud gaming footprint by making RTX-powered performance accessible across a broader range of devices.
GeForce NOW continues to differentiate itself in the crowded cloud gaming market by leveraging NVIDIA’s GPU technology and a BYO-library approach. Unlike competitors like Xbox Cloud Gaming and Amazon Luna, GeForce NOW connects directly to users’ game libraries on platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox/PC Game Pass, giving players the ability to stream titles they already own.
