Bitcoin funds attracted $526 million while Ethereum products lost $103 million, widening the gap between the two largest crypto ETF markets.
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $526.7 million on Oct. 19, reversing the previous week's withdrawals as BlackRock led renewed demand.
The inflow, the largest in nearly two weeks, more than doubled the $228.4 million investors withdrew during the five trading sessions ending Oct. 16, according to SoSoValue data.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drove the recovery, attracting $665.2 million in its strongest session since Oct. 7, 2025. The purchases offset $83.6 million in withdrawals from Fidelity's FBTC and another $54.9 million from Grayscale's GBTC, while nine other funds reported no net flows.
The rebound coincided with Bitcoin recovering toward $82,800 on Monday after briefly falling below $80,000 last week. The cryptocurrency faced sustained selling pressure after stronger-than-expected US inflation figures revived expectations of further Federal Reserve interest rate increases.
However, investor demand for Bitcoin ETFs has remained volatile despite the price recovery.
The funds recorded about $907 million in combined withdrawals over the preceding two weeks, including $679 million during the week ended Oct. 9. Monday's purchases offset more than half of those losses, leaving about $380 million in net withdrawals over the three-week period.
Daily flows have also alternated between inflows and outflows for six consecutive trading sessions, highlighting the difficulty investors have faced establishing sustained positions amid uncertainty over US monetary policy.
