PANews reported on September 23 that Aave founder Stani clarified views about Aave V4 in a post on X, saying V4 has already attracted about $1.2 billion in deposits and has been deployed across multiple networks including Ethereum, Avalanche and Arc, while supporting third-party curators such as EtherFi. Stani believes V4's codebase is significantly smaller than Aave V3, and that Spokes can directly use the Hub's liquidity without needing to build liquidity from scratch like traditional curated vaults. He also said that in V4, Hubs and Spokes are isolated by default based on risk profiles, but markets with similar risk can share liquidity through the Hub and improve capital utilization and capital efficiency within set limits. Stani said fully isolating liquidity could lead to fragmented funds, lower utilization and higher user costs.
