1789 Capital, Backed by Trump's Second Son, Seeks to Raise $3 Billion for Second Growth Fund

PANews reported on September 24, citing Bloomberg, that 1789 Capital, the investment firm of Donald Trump Jr., is seeking to raise $3 billion for its second growth fund and has already raised about $2 billion from existing investors. 1789 Capital's assets under management reportedly now exceed $4 billion, with a portfolio that includes Anduril Industries Inc., Polymarket, and several companies under Elon Musk, such as X, xAI, and SpaceX.

However, 1789 Capital has already planned to reduce the number of investments, increase the size of individual investments, and lead more funding rounds. It was previously reported that 1789 Capital is considering leading a new funding round of about $1 billion for the prediction market platform Polymarket, with a planned investment of about $300 million.
