Zinedine Zidane's men look to maintain their unbeaten run in the international break as they host their local rivals.
It’s a big test for two national head coaches still new to their roles, as Zinedine Zidane’s France hosts Mark van Bommel’s Belgium in this neighboring Nations League clash at the Stade de France. Zidane has so far overseen two wins and a draw in his opening games as Les Bleus boss, with the French coming into this game off a 2-2 draw with Italy.
The French will once again have to make do without skipper Kylian Mbappé due to a knee injury. Belgium, meanwhile, comes into this match looking to avenge its narrow 0-1 home defeat to France last Monday.
That loss was sandwiched between impressive wins over Italy and Turkey for the Red Devils, suggesting van Bommel’s men are more than capable of pulling off a statement win over their nearby rivals.
France hosts Belgium at the Stade de France in Paris on Monday, Oct. 5. Kickoff is set for 8:45 p.m. CEST local time in France, which is 7:45 p.m. BST in the UK. That’s a 2:45 p.m. ET or 11:45 a.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, and a 4:45 a.m. AEST start on Tuesday in Australia.
Monday’s game is on Fubo in the US, while Vix will also be covering the match with Spanish commentary.
You’ll need Fubo’s Pro plan to watch today’s game. A subscription currently costs $89 a month and comes with a five-day free trial.
