Vivo confirms launch date for its Y600 smartphone in China: Check expected specifications

In a post on Weibo, Vivo confirmed that the Y600 will launch in China on October 30. The image shows the smartphone in white and purple colour options. The device features flat sides and a slightly raised camera module housing two rear cameras. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

In a separate Weibo post, the company announced that the smartphone had achieved a Guinness World Record for battery life. According to the brand, the Vivo Y600 lasted 32 hours and 37 minutes during a live-streaming test conducted on August 11, 2026.

The sphone packs a 10,000mAh battery, with Vivo claiming that it can provide up to two days of use.

The Vivo Y600 appears to have a design similar to the Vivo V80 Lite, which was launched in Malaysia in September 2026. The two smartphones have a comparable rear camera layout, although the V80 Lite features a gold ring around its camera module.

If the Y600 shares its specifications with the V80 Lite, it could feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The V80 Lite also comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo V80 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For photography, the V80 Lite features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
