The USMNT faces off against its neighbor in what's usually a feisty matchup.
Mauricio Pochettino’s USA hosts Canada in an intriguing friendly at Allianz Field on Tuesday, as the North American rivals go head-to-head to cap a fruitful international break for both teams.
The USMNT has notched up an encouraging three successive wins over the last couple of weeks, with comfortable victories over Peru, Chile and Mexico. Those matches have also seen Pochettino blood a host of new young talent, with teenage stars Julian Hall and Justin Ellis notably seizing their chance to shine.
Jesse Marsch’s Canadians, meanwhile, have claimed two wins from their two games so far during the window. They followed up a 1-0 win over Chile in an ill-tempered match last week with an impressive 2-0 victory at home against Peru on Saturday, with both goals scored by LAFC winger Jacob Shaffelburg.
The USMNT takes on Canada at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CDT. That makes it an 8 p.m. ET or 5 p.m. PT start elsewhere in the US and Canada, a 1 a.m BST kickoff in the UK and an 11 a.m. AEDT start in Australia.
Tuesday’s game will be shown on linear channels TNT and truTV in the US, and you can stream on a live TV streaming service such as Sling TV. You can also stream the match via HBO Max.
