This Early Black Friday Price Drop Brings Apple’s M5 MacBook Air to Its Lowest Price Ever

Amazon is offering $250 off select models of the M5 MacBook Air, bringing these top-tier laptops to their lowest price yet.

Save $250: Apple is known for making some of the best laptops on the market, but they come at a fairly steep price. Add to that Apple’s price hikes, and outfitting yourself with a new MacBook seems even more out of reach — unless, of course, you find an early Black Friday deal, like we did. Amazon has chopped $250 off the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, bringing the price down to $1,349. You can also scoop up the 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD for a record low price of $1,549.

Just keep in mind, this deal has no expiration date, so it could disappear at any minute. If you’ve been eyeing a new MacBook Air, now is the time to buy.

In his review of the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air, CNET Senior Editor Matt Elliott wrote, “The M5 Air adds generation-over-generation performance gains, with the M5 model outpacing the previous M4 Air on both the single- and multicore tests of Geekbench 6 and Cinebench 2024.” He also noted the higher-performance graphics, long battery life and a “thin, light and rigid aluminum design.”

However, Elliott suggested if you’ve got the budget, upgrading to the 15-inch M5 MacBook Air is the way to go. Since both models are on sale, you can select from either and get 1TB of storage along with 16GB of RAM in both models.
