The best Walmart Fall Deals to shop: TVs, vacuums, and toys at steep discounts

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days runs Oct. 6-7, which means every other major retailer is currently scrambling to steal your attention with competing sales. (Honestly, in this economy, I definitely don't blame them.)

Walmart is taking on the retail giant with its own "Fall Deals" event that officially kicked off at 12 a.m. ET on Oct. 5 and runs through Oct. 11. The best part about Walmart's event is that you don't have to be a paid member to shop. With the main event officially started, we're seeing 50% off home goods, 40% off tech, and 30% off toys.

A word of caution: If you see a deal that's too good to be true while you're perusing the site, it most likely is. We've found tons of sketchy, third-party sellers selling items with inflated list prices. (Anything you buy should have a little note that reads "Sold and shipped by Walmart.com.") That said, all of the deals in this roundup are legit — it's literally our job to find them for you.

Whether you like sports or not, you can't argue this deal. The 65-inch Vizio Class Quantum 4K QLED HDR Smart TV (VQD65R-10) is currently on sale for $328, down from $498. That's a $170 price cut and a damn good deal for a vibrant QLED display with enhanced Dolby Vision HDR.

65-inch Samsung Class M70HB Series Mini LED 4K — $428 $478 (save $50)

55-inch TCL QM6K Series QD-Mini LED 4K TV (55QM6K) — $497.99 $649.99 (save $152)
