TechSparks 2026: From AI and defence to edtech and SaaS, more builders join the New Tech Order

AI is changing how social platforms understand users, data is becoming critical infrastructure, defence startups are building locally, and businesses are rethinking everything from customer engagement to the workplace.

Behind these shifts are founders and technology leaders building products, infrastructure and companies, and investors deciding which emerging technologies to back.

At TechSparks 2026, YourStory's flagship startup and technology summit, founders, technology leaders, and investors will discuss these changes and what they mean for India’s technology ecosystem, under the theme ‘The New Tech Order’.

The three-day summit will take place in Bengaluru from October 13-15. Karnataka ministers Priyank Kharge, Minister for Home, IT, BT & E-Governance, and Krishna Byre Gowda, Minister for Greater Bengaluru Development, will be part of the event, alongside Pratyaya Amrit, Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar.

Conversations will cover AI, deeptech, digital infrastructure, consumer technology, education, defence, fintech and the future of work.

Dale Vaz is Co-founder and CEO of Sahi, a trading platform built for active retail traders. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Vaz was CTO at Swiggy and spent more than a decade at Amazon India, where he led engineering teams. At Sahi, he draws on his experience as both a technologist and long-time trader to build tools for retail market participants.

Nitin Jain is Chief Technology Officer at ShareChat and Moj, where he leads technology across the two social platforms. His work spans AI, large-scale data systems, and the technology behind personalised content and recommendations for users across India's languages and regions.
