From India’s artificial intelligence (AI) opportunity to how a Bengaluru hospital is paying doctors for recovery, not procedures, here are the latest developments across sectors.
India’s technology industry has long relied on talent, cost efficiency and scale. But as artificial intelligence makes advanced tools more accessible, these advantages alone may no longer be enough to differentiate companies.
The next edge, according to technology leaders at TechSparks 2026, will come from how effectively companies use AI to solve specific problems, understand customers and build products that are difficult to replicate.
Bengaluru-based managed care company Even Healthcare has raised $50 million in a Series B round led by existing investor Khosla Ventures. Alpha Wave also participated in the round.
According to the company, the round values it at three times its valuation 18 months ago and brings its total funding to more than $120 million.
The money will go towards five new Even hospitals in Bengaluru over the next six months, beginning with Indiranagar. The company runs two hospitals in the city at present.
The Pant Project, a premium menswear label specialising in trousers and other bottomwear, has raised Rs 109 crore in a Series B funding round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investments.
Existing investor Sorin Investments also participated, alongside family offices and angel investors including Anisha Saraf, B&K Securities, MGA Ventures and B2V Ventures. The company has also secured venture debt from Alteria Capital, with IndigoEdge advising on the equity transaction.
Founded by brothers Dhruv and Udit Toshniwal, The Pant Project began as a digital-first business focused on fit, fabric performance and comfort for Indian men.
