Power up your spooky decor this Halloween with 24% off Kasa’s IP64-rated outdoor smart plug.
Save $4: If you’re getting ready to put up Halloween decorations or you’re already thinking about Christmas lights, this $13 Kasa outdoor smart plug is the perfect way to automate the process. An outdoor-rated smart plug can eliminate the tedium of running around the house to turn off switches.
The Kasa KP401 outdoor smart plug is one of the best options on the market, and it is currently 24% off for Prime Day. This deal gives you a simple way to automate outdoor decorations for less than it would cost to pick up a mechanical timer.
The idea is simple. Plug in your Halloween decor, Christmas lights or any outdoor electricals that you want to run on a schedule. Connect the Kasa smart plug to Wi-Fi and control it from the Kasa app. You can turn the connected devices on or off remotely, create schedules or even a countdown timer.
The smart plug seamlessly integrates with Alexa, Google Assistant and Samsung SmartThings, making it easy to control connected devices with your voice.
What separates the Kasa KP401 from the dozens of other smart plugs on the market is its outdoor rating. The IP64 rating means that the smart plug is well protected against dust and splashing water. The included weather-resistant cover protects the outlet even when it’s not being used. Do keep in mind that the plug should not be submerged, nor should you leave it exposed to standing water.
