The Premier League leader takes on the Czech champion at the Fortuna Arena.
Arsenal’s quest to go one step further than last year’s runner-up spot in the UEFA Champions League continues on Wednesday as the squad travels to the Czech capital to face Slavia Prague, which is looking for its first win in this season’s tournament.
The Gunners responded well to last week’s shock Carabao Cup exit to minnow Fleetwood Town with a crucial English Premier League away win against Liverpool — their first at Anfield in 14 years. Mikel Arteta’s team is unbeaten in this year’s UCL, and battled back to claim a 2-2 draw away at Bayern Munich in gameweek 3.
The Londoners today come up against a Slavia team that has struggled so far in Europe this year. It slipped to defeats against French outsider Lens and tournament newcomer Sabah, before fighting back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw in Istanbul against out-of-form Fenerbahçe last time out.
Slavia Prague takes on Arsenal on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Fortuna Arena in Prague, with kickoff set for 9 p.m. CET local time in Czechia. That makes it an 8 p.m. GMT start in the UK and a 3 p.m. ET or 12 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada. For soccer fans Down Under, it’s a 7 a.m. AEDT start in Australia on Thursday.
