Though it's not bad for a sub-$1,000 OLED TV, last year's Pros Series LCD outshines it in a few key areas.
The Roku Pro (2025) I reviewed last year was the best TV the company had ever made. So, the thought of taking that model and swapping its mini-LED LCD for an OLED showed a lot of promise. Now that I’ve tested it, the 2026 Roku Pro Series OLED has more than ultradeep black levels, decent color saturation and a competitive price going for it. This Roku has the lowest gaming lag I’ve found in any TV since we began 1080p testing over 10 years ago, and in 4K in 2018, making it a CNET Lab Test winner.
That said, the Roku Pro OLED doesn’t quite make the most of the OLED technology it’s built on. Based on my tests of both versions, the outgoing Roku Pro has a better picture overall and much better sound than the OLED version, and it’s the one I would get for now as long as it continues to be available.
I tested the picture quality of the 65-inch Roku Pro Series OLED, but this review also applies to the other screen size in the series, the 55-inch. Both sizes have similar specifications and should exhibit similar picture quality.
The Roku Pro Series OLED TV features an ultrathin metal bezel and, like almost all entry-level OLEDs, it has an ultrathin side profile. One unfortunate side effect of this, though, is that the TV no longer includes the great Soundstage audio port from the existing Pro TV .
