Chelsea returns from the international break looking to improve on its stuttering start to its campaign as it hosts a Bournemouth team that is still looking for its first English Premier League win of the season.
Firmly in midtable, goals haven’t been hard to come by so far under new boss Xabi Alonso, with only Arsenal and Brighton having scored more this season than Chelsea. The Blues’ defense, however, will undoubtedly have been given some extra attention on the training pitches at Cobham during the international break, with the West Londoners having shipped a worrying 12 goals so far — the most of any EPL team.
Winless Bournemouth, meanwhile, still appears to be coming to terms with new boss Marco Rose. Its impressive win over Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League, coupled with an unlucky 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium before the international break, suggests an uptick in results may be imminent.
Chelsea takes on Bournemouth on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Stamford Bridge in West London, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. BST. That makes it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 1 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia.
Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge will be on NBC Sports Network and streaming service Peacock. To stream the game live, you’ll need a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscription.
Peacock offers two Premium plans, and after recent price increases, the ad-supported Premium plan costs $13 a month, and the ad-free Premium Plus plan costs $20 a month.
