Logistics unicorn Porter has appointed former Amazon executive Gaurav Jain as its CFO, while elevating Shubham Gupta and Mohit Rathi to CTO and CMO roles, respectively.
Jain’s appointment comes nearly six months after the exit of his predecessor, Anurag Jalori. He joins after over 11 years at Amazon, where he most recently served as director and head of finance for India operations and supply chain.
A chartered accountant, Jain previously held finance and strategy leadership roles at Shalimar Paints and financial services company Religare.
Meanwhile, Gupta, who joined Porter in 2015, will lead technology across the startup. Previously VP of engineering, he oversaw the engineering function during its expansion, modernising the core technology stack, enabling self-service infrastructure access, strengthening security, optimising technology costs, and adopting AI.
Rathi, who has spent over 11 years at Porter, will lead growth and marketing. As VP of customer growth and engagement since 2023, he worked on customer retention and insights, scaling Porter Enterprise, rebuilding the customer rewards programme, and refining the go-to-market strategy for newer services.
“Shubham and Mohit have been pillars of this company, the core of how we work. Their new roles recognise the ownership they have shown, the impact it has created, and the trust we place in them to take Porter forward. We are also delighted to welcome Gaurav as our CFO. His experience in scaling businesses will be a strong addition as we enter our next phase of growth,” said Porter cofounder and CEO Uttam Digga.
Founded in 2014 by Digga and Pranav Goel, Porter offers B2C and B2B logistic services , including enterprise-level goods movements and management, packers and movers service for relocation, and intercity courier services.
