Prime Big Deal Days is the new official start to the holiday season. The 48-hour sale — now in its fifth consecutive year — is essentially a fall Prime Day jam-packed with deals on everything from coffee machines to iPads.

Although it officially starts on October 6, in typical Amazon fashion there are hundreds of deals you can shop right now. I've covered every Prime Day and while there are plenty of good deals to be had, there are also plenty of deals that are totally skippable.

To help you sort through the noise, I'm highlighting all of the best Prime Day deals you can shop right now. Whether you're in the market for your first OLED TV or just curious what's on sale, along with the Tom's Guide team we'll be showcasing discounts on products we recommend, have tested, or are planning to buy ourselves.

In terms of deals, the best Prime Day deals tend to be on Amazon's own devices. For example, right now Amazon hardware is on sale from $12. Amazon raised the price of its hardware last month, so these deals are a must if you want to avoid paying full price.

Remember, you must be a Prime member to shop most deals. If you're not already, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial or get a free 6-month trial if you sign up for Prime for Young Adults.
