Following a prior beta program, Nothing has started its stable Android 17 update rolling with its flagship Phone (3).

In a post on its forums, Nothing confirms that Nothing OS 5.0, based on Android 17, is now generally available for the Nothing Phone (3). The update launched in beta a couple of months ago and is set to expand to other devices in the coming months.

Nothing says to expect a “redesigned Launcher, Micrographics clock face, refreshed design system, deeper personalisation, smoother performance, improved Essential AI tools and the best of Android 17” with Nothing OS 5.0.

Nothing Phone (3) owners can install the stable Android 17 update by going to Settings > System > System update.

As for the rest of the lineup, Nothing says it is still on track for its original schedule which includes stable rollouts through mid-January 2027. Here’s the full breakdown:

Nothing will let you test new products early with its ‘Community Review’ program

Nothing Headphone (1) Pro are $399 with better hardware, ANC, and audio upgrades

Hands-on: Nothing’s $25 CMF Buds Neo are way better than the price suggests
