Get ready to sail again with Moana of Motonui and demigod Maui.

The story of Moana of Motunui and her unlikely partnership with the demigod Maui has staying power. The original animated movie is the most-watched film on Disney Plus , with “over 1.5 billion hours streamed globally,” according to the streamer.

Disney is aiming to keep the momentum rolling with the live-action adaptation of the story, which hit theaters in July. Now, it’s coming to streaming.

Moana stars Catherine Laga’aia as the titular wayfinder, alongside Dwayne Johnson , who once again returns as smartmouthed demigod Maui. Together, they strive to restore the heart of the goddess Te Fiti and save her village.

Starring alongside them is a mostly Polynesian cast, including Rena Owen, John Tui, Frankie Adams, and Jemaine Clement, who reprises the role of Tamatoa, the egomaniacal king crab who’s obsessed with all things shiny.
