Linda Hamilton on ‘Terminator 7’: ‘I’m Out’

Rob Savage exits Molepeople. Amanda Plummer and T’Nia Miller join Bill Nighy in Ascension. Outlander‘s Sam Heughan likely to appear in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. And Michael Giacchino provides a defensive update on his remake of Them! Look—held together with saliva! Spit’s all that’s holding me together right now, too. It’s Morning Spoilers!

Linda Hamilton answered “I’m out” when asked if she plans to return for Terminator 7 in a recent interview with JustWatch.

[James Cameron] did say another? He said that? I’m out. I don’t know, the last one didn’t perform well financially, so I’m very surprised to hear there’s going to be another one. Thanks for the news.

Deadline reports Olivia Holt, Jaimie Alexander, and Rohan Campbell are attached to star in Survive: The Game, a new horror film from director Scout Taylor-Compton concerning “a group of friends” who “unearth an ancient board game inside a secluded cabin with a violent past.” “Each roll of the dice brings a deadly fate to life, and the only way to survive is to finish the game.”

Sam Heughan appeared to confirm he’s been cast as an undisclosed character in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum during his recent appearance at the Wigtown Book Festival.

Deadline reports both director Rob Savage and star Lakeith Stanfield have exited Molepeople at Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Paramount Primal. Ben Wheatley is set to replace Savage as director.

Meanwhile, Michael Giacchino ominously stated “we’re doing the best we can” when asked for an update on his planned remake of the 1954 sci-fi horror film, Them!
