Auto manufacturer JSW MG Motors has announced eight startups that emerged victorious in its startup engagement initiative, MG Developer Program (MGDP).

The selected eight startups will work with JSW MG Motor India and its ecosystem partners on pilot projects and real-world deployments, the automobile company said. The initiative aims to identify startups building across mobility, manufacturing, customer experience, sustainability and industrial operations.

“Through the MG developer program, we are committed to providing startups with a platform to collaborate, experiment, and scale breakthrough ideas. The winning startups of Season 6.0 represent some of the most promising innovations across automotive technology, sustainability, industrial intelligence, and mobility services,” said JSW MG Motor India managing director Anurag Mehrotra.

Since its inception in 2019, the program has received more than 1,680 startup entries across areas such as connected mobility, EVs, AI, sustainability and automotive technologies.

Nayan Technologies operates an AI-based road intelligence platform that uses visual data to generate insights from traffic monitoring, real-time events and pinpoint defects across infrastructure as well as driver behaviour to enhance road safety, traffic management and infrastructure monitoring.

The enterprisetech startup is building AI copilot for industrial and manufacturing engineering that helps engineering, maintenance and production teams troubleshoot machinery, access technical knowledge and develop automation solutions.

It uses a customised industrial LLM, AI agents and 3D simulations to provide technical assistance. It also offers voice interaction and multilingual support, with options for local deployment to help enterprises retain control over sensitive data

The climatetech startup uses AI, IoT and digital twin technology to help energy-intensive industries improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption and cut carbon emissions.
