Can Muse use my algorithm to assemble my new fall wardrobe? Yes, with some payment issues.
Fall is my favorite season for fashion. The earthy colors, oversized blazers, cozy sweaters, neck scarves and corduroy pants. I always have grand visions for my fall wardrobe once there’s a chill in the air, but I end up running out in yoga pants and a cute knit.
According to my wardrobe, there are only two temperatures: hot or cold. I want to change that this season. After a rough couple of months of IVF and loss, I’m in my glow-up, self-care season.
New hair, new skincare, new workouts and, yes, a new wardrobe. Because I don’t have time to scour the internet for cute fall finds, I’m tasking Meta’s new AI agent, Muse, for the job. If cookies can follow me everywhere online, surely I can use that to my advantage and turn an AI agent into my personal shopper.
Muse launched earlier this month, pegged as a personal AI agent that doesn’t just answer questions but also does the work. It’s built for the billions of people on Facebook who have no technical experience. It can open a browser, fill out forms and negotiate on your behalf – asking for approval before sensitive actions such as making a purchase or sending an email.
AI agents still feel a little mysterious, so let’s test out Muse’s tricks.
My goal was to use Muse as my personal shopper by getting it to review my bookmarks, Instagram searches and followers to run a full style analysis of what I’m interested in, and then find pieces for my wardrobe.
