Cost overruns, project delays, and disconnected design processes remain major challenges in India’s construction industry.
At TechSparks 2026, Co-founders Saurav Bhaik and Ankit Sinha, the company's CEO and CTO, respectively, demonstrated how their AI-powered product, BRIXX, aims to address these problems.
BRIXX brings architectural drawings, building information modelling (BIM), mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems, and project costing into a single workflow that users can control through natural-language prompts.
“Construction is one of the least digitized industries, despite its scale. The two major problems we are trying to solve are cost and time overruns. Design systems often operate separately, with architectural drawings, MEP plans, and cost estimates unable to communicate with one another,” Bhaik said.
He explained that conventional design processes rely heavily on two-dimensional drawings. BIM adoption, meanwhile, remains limited because the software requires specialised expertise to use. Building regulations that differ across states and municipalities add to the complexity.
BRIXX aims to simplify the process by allowing users to describe a building in plain language or upload an image as a reference. The platform then generates building models, incorporates applicable regulations, estimates project costs, and creates construction schedules.
During the demonstration, Sinha showed how BRIXX could use an image reference to generate a three-dimensional building information model complete with structural elements, foundations, and excavation plans.
The system also incorporated MEP components, including electrical layouts, plumbing, and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
“BIM is daunting because every discipline has its own experts and tools. What we are trying to build is a solution that brings the entire ecosystem into one tool and lets you simply talk to it,” Sinha said.
