As teased before the launch, Henry Cavill has built a video game on Googlebook, and it’s called Mustache Protocol .
Fully embracing the Mission: Impossible – Fallout meme, this 16-bit video game is “about stopping rogue CGI artists from erasing every mustache on the planet.”
Part of the new platform’s promotional push heading into the holiday season, Google’s announcement says the actor:
“…used Rambler on his Googlebook to organize his thoughts as he brainstormed.”
“…mocked up different aesthetics, added accessories, and fine-tuned the design with Magic Pointer, which let him select and combine visual elements on screen.”
“…was able to move from his Android phone to his Googlebook and back without losing context or interrupting his creative flow” with Continue On
It looks like Cavill used Google Antigravity and other AI tools on the HP Googlebook 14 to “translate natural language prompts into working 16-bit game mechanics.”
The game is not yet available. When it launches, Google will “donate $11 for every play during the month of November” as part of a partnership with Movember . The company will donate up to $500,000 to “help support awareness and funding for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.”
Until then, you can watch a three-part series that details how “Henry designed the hero character, vibe coded meme-inspired superpowers, and added to the game’s soundtrack.”
