‘Dragon Ball Super: Beerus’: How to Stream the New Anime Today

If you’re reading this, then chances are you’re a bona fide Dragon Ball fan who knows every manga and anime in the franchise, along with Goku’s weaknesses, Piccolo’s diet and certain characters’ most offbeat lore. There’s also a high chance that you weren’t at New York Comic Con this year to get a sneak peek at episode 1 of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, so we’re giving you all the details on the series and when to check out the God of Destruction in action.

Akira Toriyama’s tale gets refined a bit in this edition of Dragon Ball Super, where viewers will pick up with Goku and crew on a peaceful Earth. That is, until Beerus wakes up from his slumber and has his sights set on tearing down this planet — and its hero. Drawn from the original manga, the story pits the powerful god against Goku in a way that threatens to wipe out the entire universe. You don’t want to miss this, so scroll on to find out when to watch.

As of this writing, episode 1 of the series is tentatively planned to air on Crunchyroll on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9:30 a.m. PT/12:30 p.m. ET, but this time is subject to change. New episodes will stream each Sunday after that at the same time.

Fans can also stream other series in the franchise on Crunchyroll, including Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball DAIMA.
