AI video startup Clueso has raised $10 Mn (about ₹95 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Dharana Capital.
The round also saw participation from new investors Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures, alongside existing backers Y Combinator and F7 Ventures.
With the latest round, Clueso has raised a total funding of about $12 Mn to date. The startup last raised $1.4 Mn in a seed funding round led by F7 Ventures.
Clueso plans to deploy the fresh capital towards expanding its enterprise sales and marketing operations and developing the AI agents powering its platform. It will also improve its video editing capabilities and deepen integrations with systems that store product and company information.
Founded in 2023 by IIT Madras batchmates Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, Clueso helps businesses create and update videos using AI agents.
The startup says its platform identifies gaps in existing video content, captures software workflows, and generates videos with scripts, voiceovers, animations, and captions. Users can edit these videos through a browser-based editor and refresh them when products, processes, or brand guidelines change.
To support this, Clueso integrates with business tools to access company information and keep video content consistent. Its Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration also enables AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to create, edit, and manage videos on the platform.
“We position ourselves as a dedicated end-to-end platform for enterprises and not a single prompt-to-video tool that consumers or creators use,” Anand told Inc42.
Clueso charges a subscription fee based on the volume of videos created and updated, the number of teams using the platform, and the products covered.
