‘Black Doves’ Season 2: When to Watch New Episodes of Netflix’s Hit Spy Thriller

The darkly comic espionage series is back with new episodes. Here's how to watch.

Netflix‘s darkly comedic espionage hit is back for another season. Black Doves, which stars Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, follows a group of undercover operatives who sell government secrets to the highest bidder. Buckle up, because season 2 is about to premiere.

The spy thriller centers on Helen Webb (Knightley), a seemingly unassuming housewife and mom, who – you guessed it – is one of the Black Doves in question. Her life is all the more complex now that her husband, Wallace Webb (Andrew Buchan), has received a career upgrade from the U.K.’s Defense Secretary to Prime Minister.

Joining Knightley and Whishaw in Black Doves season 2 are returning cast members Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Agnes O’Casey and Molly Chesworth. Newcomers to the series include Ambika Mod, Babou Ceesay, Sam Riley and Neve Campbell.

Read on to find out more information on streaming Black Doves season 2.

All six episodes of Black Doves season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix on Thursday, Nov. 5.

Netflix offers three different subscription plans to choose from. If you’re fine with commercials, you can opt for the Standard with Ads plan for $9 per month. The Standard plan costs $20 per month.
